Ankur Prajapati

Engineer - Mechanical

Ankur is a Mechanical Design Engineer with more than 16 years of engineering experience in water treatment, air pollution, and manufacturing industries.

Ankur has the strong capability of design & drafting using software Inventor Professional, AutoCAD with an excellent command on drawing management software AutoDesk Vault. Ankur has worked extensively in the various engineering roles such as design, quality assurance, estimation & sales, and project management.

After working with leading manufacturing industries in India, Ankur moved to Australia in 2008 and has since worked in the field of fabrication, water treatment and air pollution.

Ankur holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, from Gujarat University, India.

Arabella Christian

Office Manager & Executive Assistant

Arabella is a professional Executive Assistant and Office Manager, with over 7 years’ experience in office management, executive & personal assistance, bookkeeping, administration, marketing, public relations and HR.

Arabella has worked for a wide range of boutique and corporate companies throughout Sydney, and across a diverse range of industries including: career transitioning; executive search; wine wholesale; and marketing & public relations.

Arabella joined Infinite Water to bolster the capabilities of the executive team and manage critical business infrastructure. She approaches every role with an adaptable and flexible approach. Being able to pick up things quickly and take initiative, Arabella assists in managing the demanding changes and growth that come with working in a dynamic start-up company.

Arabella holds a Bachelor of Social Science, from Macquarie University, Australia, and a Master of Public Relations & Advertising, from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Dr Jessy Lee

Senior Process Engineer (Technology & Innovation)

Jessy is a Chemical Engineer with 9 years of experience in research, focusing on new technology development and process optimisation within the water treatment and mining sectors.

She has expertise in ultraviolet disinfection technologies, chemical manufacturing, metal production and process simulation.

Jessy holds a Bachelor of Materials Engineering from the University of New South Wales, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.

Dr Kalaruban Mahatheva

Technology R&D Engineer

Kalaruban is an experienced and highly qualified Engineer with demonstrated success in manufacturing, petrochemical plant services and water/wastewater treatment.  

Kalaruban worked as a Process Engineer for an Industrial gases manufacturing company in Sri Lanka before moving to Singapore to work for an environmental services company. He has provided cost-effective and efficient solutions for water problems encountered around the world.

He has provided cost-effective and efficient solutions while working on projects across the globe, travelling to Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, as well as working on Petrochemical plants while in Singapore. 

Kalaruban has also worked as a researcher at the University of Technology Sydney and handled Sydney Water and Vietnam Arsenic removal research projects. He’s published nine research papers in scientific journals and won an award at an international conference for his research work and presentation skills.

Kalaruban holds Bachelor degree in Chemical and Process Engineering and completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (Water treatment) at the University of Technology Sydney.

Dr Mohammad Kalantari

Process Engineer (Technology & Innovation)

Mohammad is a Technology R&D Engineer specialising in water/wastewater treatment with over 7 years’ research experience in water treatment and catalysis.

He received a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Queensland, Australia,  focusing on the development of state-of-the-art Nano-adsorbents for efficient decontamination of organic pollutants and heavy metals form aqueous media.

After his PhD, Mohammad joined Infinite Water as a part of the R&D team developing innovative technologies to pave the way towards supplying clean drinking water to groups in need and repurpose industrial wastewater.   

Mohammad holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Queensland, Australia.

Patrick Puddefoot

Application Engineer

Patrick is a chemical engineer with 4 years of engineering experience in water treatment. 

Throughout his career Patrick has been exposed to a diverse range of process industry experiences. Before finding his passion for the water industry, Patrick worked in process engineering roles with leading companies in the industrial gas and oil re-refining industries.

As an Application Engineer at Infinite Water, Patrick is responsible for developing proposals, process design, equipment selection, project management and commissioning.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) from James Cook University, Australia. He is a Member of Engineers Australia and is currently working towards achieving chartered status.

Roy Menzies

National Sales Manager - New Zealand

Roy Menzies has extensive experience in managing sales and service to customers in the Water Treatment Industry in India and New Zealand.

Starting his career in India, he assisted the setup of joint venture, Drew Chemicals (Ashland) before becoming the District Manager at Nalco Chemicals. Moving to New Zealand in 1995, Roy continued with Nalco Chemicals NZ for 10 years  then joined GE Water and worked with them for 11 years, becoming the NZ District Manager. He joined the Infinite Water Team in 2018.

He has worked with many clients in the following sectors: Food & Beverage, Chemical, Petro Chemical, Steel, Refining and General Industry and has developed extensive knowledge and experience in these sectors.

Roy Menzies has a Bachelor of Technology, Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras, and an MBA from the Xavier Institute, Jamshedpur.

Thiago Ferreira

National Sales Manager - Australia

Thiago is a sales and business development professional with over 20 years’ experience in the water industry, specialising in technical sales for water treatment.

He has spent the last 12 years in Australia and prior to this, lived in Brazil working with companies and governments across a wide range of industries including Water Authorities & Utilities, Chemical, Construction, Energy, Mining & Metals, and Oil & Gas industries.

Thaigo’s experience expands across international and national business development, leading large sales teams, marketing, entrepreneurship, equity investment, and acquisitions & customer service, using a variety of skills and applications.

With a proven track record in translating data and analytics to meaningful insights that drive and support decision making and sales, he will assist the Infinite Water Team in developing new opportunities and maintaining mature business relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Thiago holds a Bachelor of Biological Sciences, a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, from Sao Judas University in Brazil, and an MBA from the Queensland University of Technology.

Dr Yanyan Xiao

Supply Chain and Project Engineer

Yanyan has over 10 years’ experience in providing technical support and analytical solutions in environmental and sustainability fields. She has worked in a research institute for renewable energy utilisation, an NGO for environmental certification, and multi-disciplinary project teams of private companies in both Australia and China.

Yanyan’s professional role in Infinite Water is in charge of Equipment & Chemical Procurement and Quality Control, assisting Engineering and Product Development, and supporting sales team in ANZ and China from technical and commercial aspects.

Yanyan holds a Bachelor Degree of Environmental Engineering from Central South University, a Master Degree of Environmental Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a PhD Degree in Environmental and Social Sustainability from University of Sydney.
