Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Physics, a Master of Science in physics from Auckland University and an MBA from the AGSM of the University of New South Wales, Australia.
Bas has over 28 years of investment banking and wealth management experience. He is the co-founder and Principal Adviser of Convergence Wealth, an advisory firm providing clients with flexible, engaging, and proactive financial and business advice for nearly a decade.
Prior to establishing Convergence Wealth, Bas held senior Executive Management positions spanning over 16 years at the Australian arm of global Investment Banks, including National Westminster Bank plc, Salomon Brothers, Smith Barney, and Citigroup. He was also a member of a variety of bank committees including Risk Management, Credit & Counterparty Management, new Product Development, and Strategy & Sales.
During his investment banking career, Bas was responsible for the credit & risk management of multi-billion-dollar equity & capital markets transactions, worked on over $1.5 billion debt origination mandates, steered a team of over 150 investment advisers & stockbrokers nationwide, and originated & lead a leveraged equity division with over $2 billion of funds under management.
After leaving Citigroup in 2004, Bas served as the Managing Director of a boutique financial services company for over 5 years, which placed top 50 in the prestigious AFR FAST Starters in 2006. At Convergence Wealth, Bas is a strategic financial adviser to key clients in a variety of industries.
Bas joined the Board of Infinite Water in February 2020. He has worked as an Advisor to the Board since August 2017 to provide corporate advisory, strategy and human resource services to the Company.
David has 32 years of experience as a lawyer, independent company director, business developer and entrepreneur.
David has developed a special expertise in cultivating industrial and government resources in New Zealand and the South Pacific. He has been active in a number of ventures including a large-scale property development project in downtown Auckland, SOE purchase from Samoan Government, finance and foreign exchange business, export of primary produce and wine, gold mining, extractive minerals and landfill investments.
David is a Honourary Special Projects Advisor to the Prime Minister of Samoa, and a founding member and Commissioner of the New Zealand and Samoa Trade and Investment Commission. David currently manages the Company’s sales and marketing, and business development in New Zealand and the South Pacific.
David holds both a Bachelor of Laws and an Executive MBA from the Auckland University, New Zealand. David holds professional membership in Auckland District Law Society, New Zealand Law Society, Institute of Directors (MinstD) NZ, and is admitted as Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and the Supreme Court of Samoa.
Agatha has over 17 years of experience as a business developer, independent company director and entrepreneur. After completing a PhD in organisational Psychology, Agatha went on to start a number of profitable private construction, property development and consultancy companies in Australia and overseas.
Agatha has specialised skills in business development and leadership, which have led to a track record of leading companies to high growth and performance. YK has a deep interest in new and innovative technologies focused in the healthcare and environmental sectors.
He moved to New Zealand after practising medicine for 20 years in Hong Kong. Over the following 20 years, he has been involved in healthcare businesses in different roles, ranging from being a hands-on marketing director to the board member of a successful private healthcare group in New Zealand. He also started a lighting business from the ground up in 2011. With a passion for sustainability, he has leveraged his business and entrepreneurial experience and established networks to ensure businesses he is involved with continue to operate with a focus on improving environment and sustainability issues.
YK believes in Infinite Water’s vision to combat global water access and scarcity. Recognising their passion and commitment to using their technology to help those in need of healthy drinking water and to treat waste water to improve the environment, YK has become both an investor and an Executive Director in the business.

Gheorghe has worked as a scientist and engineer in fluid engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering (water), plant and equipment design and new technology and application development for over 35 years.
Gheorghe has been engaged as an advisor on water treatment solutions by various reputable organisations and government agencies including CSIRO, Water Corporation of Western Australia, WA Department of Water and Energy Resources Australia Limited.
For the last 12 years, Gheorghe has lead a team of researchers and engineers to refine Catalytic Advanced Oxidation process in water treatment system design and engineering, which results in unprecedented leaps in cost efficiency, robustness and extraordinary effectiveness. Jim has an extensive and distinguished career in public services before he retired and became a professional director in a number of companies in the private sector.
Jim is the former Deputy Premier of Queensland and Minister for State Development and Trade. His 12-year parliamentary services saw him serving across portfolios such as Minister for Transport, Minster assisting Premier on Economic and Trade Development, Minister for health, Minister for Business, Industry and Regional Development. Jim was Deputy Lead of the Opposition, Shadow Minister for Business, Industry and Transport, Shadow Minister for Transport, Youth, Sport and Recreation.
Jim has developed specialised skills in business development and government interaction with the private sector. He sits on a number boards as Chairman or director, including Whitsunday Market and Development Corporation, Australian Petroleum International Exploration and Marketing and Development Corporation, Australian Petroleum International Exploration and Development Limited, British Borneo Petroleum Australia Limited and Careflight Medical Service Australia.

Wes has over 20 years of experience in industrial services, construction and wastewater management industries.
He was the Managing Director of Steamit Group and Executive Director of the publicly listed Transpacific Industries. Wes manages Infinite Water’s operation in both Australia and China, and provides critical insight into manufacturing, quality control, logistics and commissioning of water treatment solutions for customers.
Wes was instrumental in leading an operation and engineering team to design and construct a large-scale water treatment plant manufacturing facility and production line in Ningbo, China.
Allen has over 16 years of experience working in various international companies across Australia and Southeast Asia. His roles have covered a wide range of activities including process engineering, consulting, business development, and sales.
Allen’s experience also includes commissioning and troubleshooting, working on equipment items as small as individual pumps all the way up to entire process packages.
Allen has a keen interest in the emerging water technologies and their applications in our day-to-day activities.
Allen has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) from Melbourne University as well as a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science).
Alex has over 10 years of experience working on numerous research and industrial projects with various partners such as Sydney Water, Trility, and Earthpower Technologies (Veolia). After a decade of working in the academia, Alex has decided to move out to the water industry in pursuit of understanding and solving the real-world problems. Her career goal is to bridge the gap between academia research and industry research needs.
As a technology R&D Engineer, Alex is responsible for providing R&D, design and engineering services and sales support to Infinite Water. She is also in charge of managing the laboratory and Approved Arrangements.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from Hanoi University of Technology (Vietnam) and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from University of Technology Sydney (Australia).
Chaitra is experienced with working in both R&D and commercialization of technology mainly in wastewater industry.
Chaitra has over 6 years of experience in water treatment, membrane and filtration technology and application and organic chemistry, most recently with Aquafortus. She holds several patents in solvent exchange process and zero-liquid technology (ZLD) for industrial wastewater treatment which focuses on water recovery and reuse by promoting sustainable practices.
Chaitra holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Auckland.
Cigdem is an experienced professional who brings over 10 years of experience in office management, executive administrative support, business management, sales, marketing, CRM, HRM, and event management to her role at Infinite Water. Cigdem has worked across a broad range of industry sectors including education, travel, technology, hospitality and retail.
As Infinite Water’s Office Manager and Executive Assistant, she is responsible for supporting the Executive team and uses her diverse skill set to plan, organise, coordinate, communicate and control activities to ensure smooth operations in a busy work environment.
Cigdem holds a Bachelor of International Trade from the Istanbul Commerce University, a Diploma of Business Management and a Diploma of Human Resources Management from the Bridge Business College, Sydney.
CY is a Certified Practising Accountant with over 12 years of experience in managing finances in across a variety of industries including hospitality and wholesale.
He has extensive knowledge and success in increasing work process efficiency and profitability through functional and technical analysis and is proficient in budget forecasting and financial reporting.
As Finance Manager at Infinite Water, CY assists the Company in making sound business decisions in the short and long term through strong data analysis and financial research as well as detailed financial and management reporting.

Dilini is a qualified process engineer with experience across multiple industries in water treatment, including potable water, industrial water treatment and water reuse. Her previous experience specializes in ion exchange technology where she delivered water treatment projects from conceptual and detailed engineering design through to project management, commissioning, optimization and operations.
She has a career ambition to make a positive contribution to society and believes working in the water industry allows her to partake in innovative, industry leading projects that have meaningful impact.

Kalaruban is an experienced and highly qualified Engineer with demonstrated success in manufacturing, petrochemical plant services and water/wastewater treatment.
Kalaruban worked as a Process Engineer for an Industrial gases manufacturing company in Sri Lanka before moving to Singapore to work for an environmental services company. He has provided cost-effective and efficient solutions for water problems encountered around the world.
He has provided cost-effective and efficient solutions while working on projects across the globe, travelling to Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, as well as working on Petrochemical plants while in Singapore.
Kalaruban has also worked as a researcher at the University of Technology Sydney and handled Sydney Water and Vietnam Arsenic removal research projects. He’s published nine research papers in scientific journals and won an award at an international conference for his research work and presentation skills.
Kalaruban holds Bachelor degree in Chemical and Process Engineering and completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (Water treatment) at the University of Technology Sydney.
Grenville is a senior business unit manager over 30 years’ experience in the water industry across the mining, industrial and municipal sectors. His roles have varied through delivery of technical support, supply chain management, consulting services, construction, and contract management.
Gren has worked with several global organisations and has experience delivering services in the UK, NZ, North America and across SE Asia and the Asia Pacific region. He has acted as Project Director for several key industrial and municipal infrastructure projects, including the design of the cooling water program for world first full scale Biox Treatment plant in Ghana and the Tender and Detailed Design phases of the Adelaide Desalination Plant and more recently with clients such as Lion Foods, Cargill, Sydney Water, and several regional water authorities.
Gren has a BSc (Honours) in Chemistry from University of Western Australia and he is passionate about driving customer satisfaction and delivering environmental solutions that restore the balance.
Jamie has 10 years of experience in tertiary process equipment primarily to the Water Industry. He has also worked for companies that delivered heat exchangers, valves and actuators to the water industry most recently for Rotork, previously with Emerson, Pentair and Alfa Laval.
Jamie has project managed the delivery of engineered solutions and product deliverables and maintained offshore drilling activities for Schlumberger.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Chemical and Process from the University of Sheffield.
Joan has more than 7 years of engineering experience exclusively in the water & wastewater treatment industry. Throughout his career, Joan has worked in various engineering areas including design, commissioning, operations & maintenance and product development. His experience ranges across biological treatment, stormwater, drinking water, groundwater and construction site wastewater treatment.
Joan holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, from the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Manresa, Spain, a Master of Environmental Engineering and a Master of Engineering Management from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Jon is an Industrial Chemist with over 35 years’ water industry experience in Account Management, Business Development and Sales Management.
Jon has extensive hands-on experience in chemical water treatment and technologies including reverse osmosis, micro/ultrafiltration, and UV disinfection. He has worked in major industries such as Heavy Industrial, Municipal (water and wastewater), Mining, Power, and Food & Beverage. He is passionate about changing mindsets to the introduction of new technologies to provide clean, sustainable water supplies for all Australians.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Science from Macquarie University, Sydney. He has been a member of the Australian Water Association since 2008 and he is a member of the Dairy Industry Association of Australia.
Jon is a Chartered (CEng MIChemE) Chemical Engineer and practicing registered professional engineer (RPEQ). He has over 12 years industry experience in engineering design focused around water treatment, most recently with Clean TeQ and previously with Technip, Schlumberger and Honeywell, having worked in contracting, consultancy and as an OEM. He has a strong track record in delivering water treatment solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors including municipal, industrial, mining and oil and gas. Jon is leading the Engineering and R&D team at Infinite Water and has a passion for developing new and emerging technologies across water and wastewater treatment in new and often hard to treat applications, whilst implementing sustainable practices that can reduce reliance on freshwater and enable water recycling.
Jon holds a Masters Degree (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge, UK. In 2021 Jon led a team that won the renowned Outstanding Achievement IChemE Global Award for the development of a novel coupled ion exchange and biological treatment process for nitrate removal.
Minh is a Process Engineer with 9 years of experience in research and development of innovative technologies for resource recovery from solid waste and wastewater and 4 years of engineering experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry across Australia and Vietnam. He has worked for the Australian Research Council as an Investigator in the field of wastewater recycling and techniques to reduce membrane degradation from fouling.
Minh is a member of the Australian Water Association, the Membrane Society of Australasia, and Engineers Australia, and has won numerous Excellence and Innovation awards. His areas of expertise include membrane separation, MBR/AnMBR bioreactors, sludge treatment, anaerobic digestion, and environmental analysis. Minh has been working on some of Infinite Water's key applications, including wastewater recycling and reduction of disinfection by-products in drinking water.
Minh holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam; a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wollongong Australia; and is currently completing his PhD in Environmental Engineering at the Centre for Technology in Water and Wastewater at the University of Technology Sydney. Minh's research interests focus on the use of innovative membrane- and microalgae-based technologies to recover energy and nutrients from solid wastes and wastewater.
As Production Manager, Peter ensures that our innovative water treatment plants and products are produced to the latest industry standards and to the satisfaction of all the stake holders.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the water treatment industry Peter has held a variety of different positions where his technical and management skills were strengthened. This is supported with his underlying desire to contribute to other’s future success through effective leadership, finding solutions to complex and technical challenges, adding value to the wider community through water treatment and solving complex problems through creating end-to-end design & build solutions.
Peter holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and a Senior Management Development Masters Certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, South Africa. Peter is passionate about continuous improvement through optimizing production processes.
Phillip’s key focus is to ensure IWH projects are delivered safely within allowed timeframe & budget while still meet IWH, local quality standards, and all the stakeholders’ expectations.
With over 20 years of experience in the water & wastewater industry in Australia and Internationally, he has implemented many municipal/industrial projects involving a wide range of treatment process and equipment, including number of innovative and/or first-of-its-kind projects such as the Biggest UV project in the Southern Hemisphere and the First Biogas Cogeneration Plant using Aero-based Microturbine engine in Australia.
Phillip holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from RMIT University Melbourne and several practical industry qualifications, including Certificate IV in OH&S Management, Building and Construction, Plant Operation; and other short courses such as AS-4300, PM Essentials, Emergency Evacuations, and UV Validation.
As Project Administrator, Rakshak is responsible for coordinating various aspects of project management and plays a crucial role in supporting project teams to facilitate successful project delivery.
Joining us soon after graduation, Rakshak is actively involved in assisting with project execution, procurement, documentation, logistics and warehouse management. Rakshak seeks to foster a collaborative work environment that promotes mutual learning.

Seongchul has worked over 7 years on valuable resource recovery such as critical elements and high-quality water from problematic and potentially environmentally-harmful water using adsorption and membrane technologies.
Seongchul has developed the novel and sustainable adsorption-membrane hybrid system for resource recovery with the theoretical adsorption modelling to understand the behaviour of their energy-mass transfer.
Seongchul has also worked on the removal of natural organic matter from water streams with Sydney Water at University of Technology Sydney. He has published more than ten articles in scientific journals and communicated his findings in local and international conferences.

Allen’s experience also includes commissioning and troubleshooting, working on equipment items as small as individual pumps all the way up to entire process packages.
Allen has a keen interest in the emerging water technologies and their applications in our day-to-day activities.
Allen has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) from Melbourne University as well as a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science).
