Environmental remediation

_Applications / Environmental remediation

Our technological advancements across conventional and non-conventional solutions have led to significantly most cost-effective solutions.
Dewatering

Reliable, efficient and high volume, our solutions are ideal for treating groundwater and surface water to meet strict discharge compliance regulations.

Solutions developed for

  • High water quality variability

  • Refractory contaminants such as PFAS

  • Metals and metalloids such as arsenic

Landfill leachate

Landfill leachate is a highly polluted and complex wastewater. Depending on the pollutant composition there are a number of technologies that we adopt to meet the discharge requirements.

Technologies adopted include

  • Biological treatment

  • Physical/chemical separation

  • Catalytic oxidation

  • Ion exchange

  • Membrane filtration

  • Evaporation

PFAS, PFOS and PFHXs

Infinite Water has patented a process for the degradation of PFAS, PFOS and PFHXs compounds in concentrated waste streams. The degradation process eliminates PFAS from continuing into the environmental life-cycle. It also significantly reduces costs where alternative options involve off-site transportation and incineration.

Our solutions for PFAS compounds incorporate

  • Catalytic oxidation filtration

  • Granular activated carbon (GAC)

  • Regenerated Exchange resin (IX)

Herbicides and pesticides
Get in touch

Herbicides and pesticides have been engineered to be difficult to break down. Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the world and conventional methods to remove it from water sources are costly and do not remove it from the environmental life-cycle.

Our Hydroxon™ process degrades herbicides like glyphosate and removes them from the environmental life cycle making and has significantly lower capital and operational costs than conventional water treatment such as vacuum distillation (evaporation).
